The hotel is a 12th century Italian villa tucked away in the hill top village of Ravello and set
high on the cliffs above the sparkling Mediterranean sea on the Amalfi coast. During the first
part of the twentieth century this magnificent five star hotel attracted many prominent writers,
including André Gide.
The rich and famous made the Palazzo Sasso their favorite hotel on the
picturesque Italian coast. Fully restored in 1997 the hotel re-opened to continue its historic
adventure. All rooms are decorated with hand made Vietri tiles, antique carpets and furniture
from the 18th and 19th centuries. Rosselini’ s restaurant has been awarded two Michelin
stars for its superb cuisine. The Caffé dell’ Arte offers a more casual atmosphere serving
cocktails and delicious snacks. Savor delicious pasta dishes on the Terrazza Belvedere with
its panoramic view over the bay.
The Palazzo Sasso has a full range of facilities dedicated
to well-being: the Spa offering a full range of beauty treatments together with a hydro pool,
sauna and hammam; a gymnasium located in the gardens under white gazebos; a beautiful 20
meter outdoor heated swimming pool in the gardens with an amazing view over the sea and a
solarium with two Jacuzzi pools. In the summer, take a complimentary shuttle service to the
hotel’ s sea front villa and relax on the sun drenched terraces perched above the Mediterranean
Sea.
