Six Senses Laamu: naturalbornwonder


The Laamu atoll is a charming discovery with no other hotel complexes, lending an air of total privacy to this Six Senses resort. The establishment offers different kinds of villas: some on the beach with one or two bedrooms, others on stilts with terraces and indoor glass bathtubs for a view of the local marine life. In keeping with the group’s philosophy, the villas were built using renewable local materials. Food is also purchased locally, largely from organic sources. The spa offers four large “nests” where guests may enjoy a variety of typical regional specialities, in addition to the treatments that made the group famous.
